The Piano Cottage is headquartered at 2010 Boston SE. We also have satellite locations in: Middlevile, East Grand Rapids, Walker, Northeast Grand Rapids and Rockford.
Teachers have to accomodate for both time and travel expenses. Travel time takes away availability for other students. Note: In-home lessons are not available for all instruments.
A critical part of learning an instrument is practicing in between lessons. Students should have access to a practice instrument or there's little benefit in investing in lessons.
Absolutely! We have several adults who study music with us. Adults can learn music through our school and even get performance and recital oppourtunities.
Each student is guaranteed 33 lessons between September and May. Holidays, makeup days, and longer and shorter months are factored in, so your tuition remains the same from month to month.

Each student is guaranteed 11 lessons between June and August.

The Piano Cottage Rocks is an annual concert. Students of The Piano Cottage ages 8-18 audition to a panel of 3rd party judges. Sign-up for our mailing list to be the first to receive information.
Although there are instances where we accept donations on site, The Piano Cottage prefers to connect donors with families directly to facilitate the exchange of the instrument.
