The Piano Cottage Rocks is an annual concert held by students 18 and younger.
Students receive professional training in all aspects of performing before a live audience. This includes: Musicianship, technical skills, stage presence, choreography, and collaboration with a live band.
In short, students learn a ton and have a lot of fun while doing so! It is truly a 1-of-a-kind experience.
When:
- February (entire month) – Accepting registrations and audition videos
- June 10-20 (weekdays) – Rehearsals
- June 21 and June 22 – TPCR holds 3 amazing concerts at the EGR Performing Arts Center

Pre-Registration
January 17th to 31st
We invite our student body (18 years and younger) to pre-register for our annual rock concert by filling the registration above. Pre-registered students get a free shirt

& Auditions
February 1st to 29th

Rehearsals
June 10th to 20th
Rehearsals start 2 weeks previous to the concerts. We advise students to study their assigned music parts prior to the rehearsals start.

THe venue for the concert this year will be the East Grand Rapids Performing Arts Center (2211 Lake Dr SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49506, United States).
Audition Cost: $25 Per Student
Participation Cost: $250 per student

- Participation on the 3 concerts
Refund Policy: TPCR is a major production, and there is a lot of work that is being tailored to each specific student that auditions for the show.
- Cancellations prior to April 1, 2024 are eligible for a 50% refund.
- Cancellations after April 1, 2024 are no longer eligible for a refund.
